Lo-Pro Edge Conversion

Here's the thing............I own a certain guitar that needs to have it's tremolo cavity routed in order for me to install a lo-pro edge bridge. This and a vine inlay as well as 21-24 scalloped frets are also on the agenda.
Now I know what you're thinking........ JUST GET A 7V! Yes brothers and sisters, I agree, but I figure that this will not only be cheaper, but I'll end up with a truley unique guitar. Anyway, I am based in London, and was wondering if any of you know who the best people for the routing job are, if you think it is a good idea. I've heard mixed stories from all the guitar techs I've come across, and this has left me with a few doubts.
I would also like to know your opinions on what the best way of getting a gold lo-pro edge would be, and how much it would cost.

LGM Guitars

Go to the pricing page to see what all Jeremy does. I can personally vouch for his work and so can many others here.

Yup Jeremy is a good choice for the vine (LGM banner above)

Also Brian Calvert at Universal Jems. (click on the banner above)
would be good for the routing.
I can personally vouch for his work-it is excellent

May also be worth checking out Herc Fede (a banner above) for the inlay

As for getting hold of the trem

Call Cliff at Nevada Music

www.nevadamusic.co.uk

or see him at Jemfest UK next month.

I can also vouch for Cliff and Nevada.

Cheers

A trem is only as good as it's knife edges will allow, and if you want a stable trem, click on that swirly banner up top

My apologies to Rich!!

If you want to wait a long time for Headstock then order it through Nevada.

Whereas Rich (who is great) at Ibanez Rules may have one in stock!!

My point [which I'm sure keeps irritating Hoshino] is that until they get the knife edges back to early 90's spec, no trem that hasn't been worked on will not be as stable as it should be.

They still aren't perfect after they're worked on. They can't be filed at the same shallow angle they're originally cut at. But the improvement in stability is substantial. Still the bottom line, guys that never use the pull-up in their playing would never notice a difference if they were worked on or not.

To route or not to route

Thanks very much to everyone for their replies. I have since checked out the LGM site, and guys, you are all right. Nevermind his quality workmanship, but Jeremy's passion for creating beautiful art is second to none. Chrome vine all the way!
I will also try to contact Cliff at Nevada, but I don't think that getting the routing done in America is going to be cheap at all. I'll probably be better off getting it done in the UK if anyone can actually do it. If anyone knows of a place, please let me know!
I had a look at the Universal Jems site, not really much there to go on. Gives me the impression that those guys are way too busy.
Thanks again for your replies fellow jemsiters, this is going to be a mission of epic proportions.

IS this still true on new trems rich? I pull up on my bar constantly and the thing doesnt go out of tune, but of course any improvement I can make would be well noted.

Dude...you've sold me 3 that pass the pull-up test. And 2 are using new posts.

If it helps, I set me trems about 2 degrees negative angle (tail of bridge below horizontal plane). Flutter isn't a problem, but the LO-Pro's are known to have less flutter than the standard Edge.
