So what you your saying is...if you look down the guitar from behind the trem and it is lower on the high E side, then thats ok and will not effect the knife edges of the trem in any way and is a normal feature on all jems? (basically the trems are designed for this?)
The only reason I ask is that before I set my GMC up I don`t want to screw anything up!

Absolutly!! Once you have set everything the way it should be, you will notice that the (if looking at the trem from behind) right side (high E) will be slightly lower. This is very normal and expected. The knife edges will NOT be adversley effected by this slight uneveness.
NOTE: Do not attempt to set-up the guitar until you have changed the strings. Fresh strings....step #1.
