Lo-Pro Maintenance

Hey guys. I own a DBK and I need a few pointers on Lo-Pro maintenance.

Is the Hipshot trem-setter a worthy investment? If the Backstop is better then where can I purchase one? Do they require professional installation? when is it necessary to replace the knife edge? When is it necessary to replace the arm holder and arm bushings? Where can I order spare bushings and holders?

Thanks for your help,
-Tim

yes, it is, but a backStop would be a better purchase, IMO.

take a look here on Classified, or on eBay. not that easy to find, but not impossible, though.

if you're not into DIY setup, you better bring it to a pro.

it is not, you may need to file'em a bit after months of abuse, if ever.

you won't need to replace the arm-holder at all. you may need to replace arm-bushings just when your arm doesnt hold up anymore (if you want it to hold up)
