Lo Pro on my PGM300 - keeping in tune

i just got my new PGM 300 (AMAZING GUITAR!) and when i do light to medium down/up bends on it, it stays in tune fine, but with total dives it usually go's just a tad out of tune. *i've heard awesome things about this trem, but is there something i can do to get this to stay perfectly in tune? *besides that, this thing rocks. *if i don't use the trem, i would seriously believe that i could go on a months vacation and have the thing in perfect tune when i got back. *thanks for any help people!

Congratulations on your guitar!
If the guitar is brand new, try to abuse the trem really hard, to make sure that the trem springs gets worn in.

first of all: great choice, man!!!

about the trem, a few tips:

- get a fresh set of strings (not anyone does that on an used guitar... !?!)
- get the retainer-bar as lower as you can. if needed, keep the truss-rod cover away.
- give the strings a good stretch before you clamp the nut pads, then retune. do this 3, 4 times at least.
- as you (firmly) clamp the pads, give the strings another good stretch and retune with fine-tuners.
- as you find the perfect action, tighten the Stud Locks.

if this ain't enough, ask Rich.
good luck, and let us know!

When I tried out a new Ibanez with a Lo-Pro at a official distributor it went out of tune like that...when I asked the guy who worked there why...he told me it was because the strings was new...I bought one used and I can abuse it for 2 weeks and it's still almost perfect! Incredible!

OK, new current production. Do everything mentioned above, especially stretching in the strings completely, make sure the nut is tight (in the back), then report back if it's still having trouble.

Well seeing as how I got here before Rich, I'll let you know that the "1" at the start of the serial number indicates it's a 1991 model, making it 11 years old
