Lo-TRS, broken saddle

Got an RG7420 with a Lo-TRS, broke the low-B saddle, and I need a replacement. do saddles from other trems fit this one, or does anyone here have any spares?

Re: Lo-TRS, broken saddle

I think I've still got some LO-TRS II saddles that will probably fit, but I'm in Australia and it will probably be easy enough to find someone closer to you that has some spares. If you are having difficulties we can always work out something.

Re: Lo-TRS, broken saddle

Ibanez's website has issues, so I can't access them for parts at the moment. Still trying a few of the local dealers here.

Still no luck with the dealers, or anywhere else on the internet.

Anyone got an extra? Preferrably black.

Re: Lo-TRS, broken saddle

Like I mentioned earlier if the LO-TRS II saddles fit, and you cannot find any I can probably get some to you for the cost of postage and packaging for you to test out.

It's not a Lo-TRS II (Korean-made) I have an original TRS (Japan)

The saddles by themselves are usable though. It's the baseplate/knife edges that are the problem, along with the studs.

Cool man, thanks!

But is it the same as the 1st and 7th string saddle? The OEM saddles are in different heights for strings 1-7, 2-6, 3-5, and 4.

I second this. IMO it would be way more beneficial/potentially cheaper & less hassle just to replace it with a trem which is half-way decent.

1&7 should be low
2&6 should be medium
3,4,5 should be high
or one could be shimmed.

I have one or more of each.

Re: Lo-TRS, broken saddle

Thanks for the info guys.

Local dealer was able to get me one from Hoshino last week.

Installed it this afternoon, and my 7420 lives!
