Arwe... how bad is the problem? How much higher does it go?
I have to tell you that this is an inherent problem with the Lo-TRS II trems... every trem has this problem with varying degrees of severity but the Lo-TRS II is the worst. Basically, it's the problem of the knife edge actually resting on 2 different points one when the trem is pulled up and one when it's pushed down.
The way that I had my RG (now sold.. thankfully) that had a Lo-TRS II trem was that I would have to decide which way I would use the trem more often. At that time, I pushed down on the trem more than I pulled when playing and I would have to push it down to set it at that point when I tuned. So, if I pulled the trem up at any time during my playing, I would have to give it a slight push to get it back in tune before continuing.
There's no way to 'solve' this problem but you can make it not so noticeable by making sure that your trem angle is right and all the other tips in the tech setup section here. Other than that... get a guitar with an edge or lo-pro trem. * *
