Lo-TRS vs Edge III

Anybody has any inputs on this?
I noticed that the Edge III's are usually put on the Korea/China made RG Tremolos.
I have an RG470 which has the LoTRS and would like to find out how good is the Edge III compared to the LoTRS

Titsy witsy bit better coz it has lower profile and arm torque adjustment.

Given that you treat the system right, it'll last good and remain stable for some couple of years.

dont know about that... but i'll take an edge3 over a TRS...

I've had my Edge III-equipped guitar for over a year, now, and have not had one single problem with it, tuning or otherwise. Stays in, nicely, for me.

They aren't bad if it's setup properly

you hit the jackpot... if you set it up nicely it wont give you trouble

I always head that Lo-TRS is a piece of junk, whereas Edge III is fairly useable if properly set up.

i have a lo-trs II from 2002, and it isn't that bad. the original lo-TRS was actually fairly nice, whereas the II model had worse knife edges and tended to deteriorate over time. if treated well, they're a horse-a-piece, and can be great when properly setup
