Locking a floyd rose

Is there any FAST way that can be done. Any tool? i know you can block it but that seems kind of slow and i only need it blocked for tuning. Any advice?

why do you need to lock the trem to tune it? if you're changing strings then you can't do it that fast, so it's worth to take some time to block it somehow.
then, to flip a piece of wood between trem-block and trem-cavity won't let you waste more than a couple seconds, you need to do it faster?

Not many people like them but I am a big fan of the Schaller Trem-Stop. It mounts on the face of your guitar behind the tremolo. You can either use the supplied double stick pad or screws. You swing the trem arm around backwards and it is a claw thing that grabs the arm. Holds it steady for tuning or keeping double stop bends in tune. It is not strong enough for detuning or staying in tune if you break a string however. That's fine with me though. I have 4 of them.
