Loose Low E, But all other Strings are tight. help!!

Ok, I got a new pack of GHS boomers custom light. 9-46. like hybrid Slinkies. And when i put them on, my Low E is loose?? and it wobbles a little, which makes it sound like fret buzz for each note on that string. do they make 47's?? or is there a way to tighten the low with keeping the same note?? i dont like loose strings.

Like every other string is perfect, not loose or wobbly. i had a DR 46 on it before it broke and it wasnt loose. but the new 46 is looser. I dont know why.

the lack of replies could have something to do with the fact that all .046 tuned to E will have the same tension. unless you've moved the saddle.

therefore nothing anyone says will help you.

Just doesn't make sense man. You didn't tune it an octave lower by accident did you?

Sell your guitar, every week you post problems with it...

Sell it and get the money and buy lessons, then, when you get really amazing, buy a decent guitar..

Well, it may be time to have someone who knows what they're doing show you how to put new strings on your guitar. The boomers may not be made the same way as your previous strings. Therefore, different strings will sound and feel totally different.

Try Blue Steels.

You need to work on your sentence structure. I'm 15 as well, but because of my grammar, most people don't realize this fact. As a result, people give me more respect than your average "OMGZ I wantz a JEM!!!!" adolescent poster. Please, do not take any offense to this, as it's just some constructive criticism. As far as your original problem goes though, I'm not sure I can be of any help. With that said, certain brand strings are more/less pliable than others, so maybe you need to check into other brands. Why did you switch in the first place?

Speak (or in this case, type) like an adult, and you will be treated like one.

Me neither.

But hey, let's not be too harsh on the guy. He is learning.

Azian -- as far as I know they don't make 47's, you'd probably need to go to a 48.
