Loose Pot

This may seem like a ridiculous question but my tone pot is extremely loose (7vwh) and I can't seem to get the white knob off to tighten it. Does it just pull straight off?? Sorry, all of my other guitars have a small screw on the knobs to take them off. I don't want to pull it if there is somekind of a pin of something....

Work a heavy pick under one side, spin the knob 180 degrees, stick a heavy under the other side. Work the knob off with the picks.
