Loose Truss Nut (REALLY need help here guys)

I am having fret buzz on frets 2-7 on the high e string, and according to the tech page, im supposed to loosen my truss rod.

thing is, i have loosened it and still it has fret buzz, and furthur attempts to loosen it is not possible because the nut is so loose, i can basically turn it with my fingernail!

wad should i do now? tighten the nut? but wun it tighten the rod too?

before i had this fret buzz problem, i actually had quite perfect action to me though, and there was no buzzing at all, that is until two nites earlier where i increased my lopro's height and the buzzing came back.. quite wierd dun u think?

yes it is,
but it happens to me sometimes too. dont know what to say, i'd just suggest you to bring it to a pro, or just keep the neck a couple nights "under-press", tightening the truss-rod every now and then.

that's what i do in these cases, and it works great.

what nuno said.

snugly tighten the trussrod nut so it doesn't unfasten and detach.... you are out of adjustment there.

you're probably going to have to get a competant tech to work on the neck and restore the forward bow. They can also check the neck for high frets that might need to be corrected. Assuming the frets were cut properly and bow is possible, they will clamp and heat the neck restoring the bow, allowing the trussrod to do the *minor* adjustments again... glen
