lubricate the trem...

Hi, just a question...
Is necessary to lubricate the contact points of trem...I mean, will that help to prevent execive wearing in the posts and knive edges..?
If yes, what should I use, vaseline, graphite?...
Thanks

I use this stuff called CLP(Clean Lubricate Protect) from Break Free.

Most gun shop carries it including Academy.

It's not a necessity, it just helps get closer to perfect return from pull-up.
