Modding a Jackson Soloist with Floyd into an EDGE?

yah, totaly BLASPHEMY. But I have no qualms admitting that the edge tremolo is BETTER then a Floyd Rose. Is this something that could be done rather easily, or is the existing Floyd Route too big or share characteristics that wouldnt agree?

If not a Soloist, id take a Model 6 Charvel, sand the neck, and toss on an edge... Bang, player?!?!?

i did it on a couple guitars, and of them was a Soloist.
the Edge fits pretty well the Floyd's routing, you may have to give a little file' hits on the corners where the trem baseplate 'becomes' tail.
that's the worst thing it could happen, so dont worry at all.

anyway, i would go for the Charvel as a player guitar. i love player guitars!

Thanks Nuno,

I have a Jackson Import Soloist with a 580lp, I would like to replace it with an Ibanez Lo-pro.

Im hoping it just drops right in!
