Mods: Jem 555 to 7V & Roadstar to Strat (pics inside!)

Hi all, I had just received my new digital camera as a present for Christmas and the first thing I've done is take some photos of my lovely ibanez modded axes:

First: this has been my main axe for years, but I suffered the lack of a serious tremolo system....then I found a local guy that bought a second hand RG550 (with loproedge) but didn't care about tremolos....so I proposed him to change my trs2 for his LoPro....and he accepted!!! WOW
Now my jem is finally upgraded and I think the smile will never go away from my face. The pickguard, the truss rod cover and the scalloping for the last 4 frets are a work from me.
Enjoy some pics:

Second: a '87 roadstar-Rg model that I've modded to look (and sound!) as a stratocaster. i replaced the hss config to an all single config base on two ibanez eighties' single with a very sweet sound and the central coil is by an american fender. The bridge was also replaced with a fender vintage one. i'm not completely sure about the origin of this guitar, but all I know is I bought it from my drummer for 25 euros (20 dollars!!!), but it was completely messed up. Here's the pics:

Hi all and.... BUON ANNO DALL'ITALIA !!! (HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ITALY !!!)

Wow, that guy got screwed with the Lo TRS!

Anyway, you don't see many of those Roadstars. I have an old piece of junk one that I'm magnetically attracted to for some reason. The neck just feels oh so nice.... I have no idea why I'm so attached to a $100 piece of junk. Oh well, it just feels great to me.

It's a 1987 model like yours. Of course, mine has that whacky "Power Rocker" trem on it. Ugh...

Thanx for the reply. I don't know why, but these models keep attracting me just like you!
they have this comfortable body and a superb neck, and with the mod I did on mine, it's like you are playing a strat.
I mean you have the same wonderful attack on the strings, the same sensation on the neck. the only bad thing is the neck joint, that is the standard fender one: it's too big to play the higher frets freely!

Do you have other pics?

Yeah, these aren't great, but I just wanted to have them, but I guess I'll post them.

Notice "Roadstar Series", and it has the RG headstock, and is an RG.

It doesn't look taht bad, really, it's just the finger prints on black. Ugh, a nightmare! The finish actually looks fairly good...

Notice the tremolo? And it has the knobs from my other cosmo Ibanez since I wanted to have black hardware on that one! It had black knobs on it originally.

Here you can see the anchor plate thing, and then the trem plate bites into that. It also has one of those Ibanez pop in-pop out bars which is neat-o. That bar fits into my Edge too.
