Monkey grip, new or old?

Im thinking to mod my ibanez rg 570, with a monkey grip, maybe lions claw, and a camouflage paint similar in colors to the petrucci model but with the pattern of zakk's camo guitar.

Getting a pickguard (clear or mirror) dont know yet

and route the electronics cavite bigger, in order to fit the sustainer electronics better.

What do you think would look cooler? the newer monkey grip or the older one.

Give me some ideas!

Theres an older monkey grip? Are you talking about the monkey grip that is like straight and more towards the back of the guitar?

I dig the cammo, but instead of a handle try to come up with something a bit more military in fashion perhaps part of an old gunstock pistol grip design or something in line with a monkey grip in fashion!
