neck binding
Will a bound neck wider than a non bound neck?
When Ibanez craft the neck
they add the binding to the neck or they cut the edge of the neck and then add the binding to it so the width of them would be the same?

neck binding
Binding is installed by routing a channel along the edge of the neck/headstock/body, then gluing in the binding. It shouldn't be any wider than an un-bound neck... unless it were designed that way.

neck binding
yea what he said. and FYI, the binding is attached to the frets so if you want to install it yourself your going to have to lift the frets out and then reinstall them.
