Neck Bow

I'm adjusting the truss rod on my JEM7D and was wondering how much bow others have got. When fretted at the 1st and 24th fret, I get the following measurements at the 12th fret (using a feeler guage);

.42E - 0.35mm
.009E - 0.35mm

I still get a bit of buzzing around 4-6 frets (depending on pick attack) and a lot of buzzing on the low E (0.42). I am assuming I need to loosen the truss rod a bit more?

Yes - it sounds like it needs a little more relief.

It's a bit strange but I get a bigger measurement at fret 7 - 0.40mm. Is that normal? I imagined the apex of the bow would be half i.e. 12fret

It is normal for the maximum bow to be closer to the headstock, as you have.
