Neck Joint Fractures- how to fix...

Well I just stripped the RG down, it has 2 cracks right at the base of the neck joint. Should I use Epoxy to fill them or super hard wood glue or...??
Any suggestions?

I have the same problem with my Jem. Is it around the scarf joint? I have a link that is perfect for repairing the crack on mine...here's the link anyway...

Thanks pals,

But the cracks are actually in the wood, the finish is completely off (courtesy of my $25 heat gun, thanks Brian).

Is there any danger of further damage you think? I mean, they arent MAJOR cracks but I have one on each side of the neck joint of the body right near the cutaways, I could take a picture...

these type cracks probably exist in a regular percent of guitars with that type of heel joint. without seeing photos, it's impossible to say what to do next.

if you must repair it, first you would want to stop the splitting. you could drill a small hole at the end of the split, to stop the wood splittingfrom advancing. then simply fill the hole(s) with epoxy or another glue/filler of choice... glen
