Check the custom makers up top. You wont touch an Ibanez vine neck for under $700

Get one from ETguitars. Guess it's quite ok. I was supposed to get a neck from there.

If you want cheap ones, just google for Woodycustom. They're cheap, but they are pure art of Chibanez.

ET Guitars- they did an ebony w/ silver and green mirror inlay for me awhile back and it is SUPERB!!! (It's the one on their website for Rev. Charlie)

I've also gotten one from Deep6/Legacy (also member here) that is waiting to be mated to a bod but seems dead on- VWH-style inlay in rosewood, very nice.

Indeed. I found me a 9.9/10 Jem7VWH neck for $400. I consider myself lucky.

Re: WTB: Neck with tree of life inlay

Yeah you can forget about a decent quality vine neck for under 200. I found an awesome looking and feeling one from deep6 for 185, but it required a bit of work in terms of sanding and refinishing, and I dont know how your skills are for that stuff, or if you even have any.

I meant to say, a good quality ready-to-install one. Why can't I edit my own post all of a sudden?

Re: WTB: Neck with tree of life inlay

How hard would it be for a luthier to change the fretboard? I would just buy a nice RG neck and this (310038897609) set of inlays. How much do you think it would cost to replace it?

Because the conversation you're having is in the classifieds (at the moment, at least), that's why........

The classifieds are really for buying and selling. And while you are looking to buy, it seems like you opened this thread to buy a neck without knowing too much about what was available, or what your options might be. This invites conversation that we strongly discourage in this particular forum. You should consider opening a thread in another forum (like 'Tech: Repairs and Mods'), and discussing your options there.

As a matter of fact, since you are looking for advice on inlays and costs in your last post, I'm going to move this one for you. You can open another thread in the classifieds when you know what you want.
