*Need Help

When I plug my Squier Strat into my VOX AD50VT it makes a hissing noise, with the switch in the bridge position. I also tried the neck positon and it continued to hiss. I put the switch in the 2 and 4 position and it was fine, no hiss. If more guitar info or amp info is needed I will post it. Can someone please help me out in fixing this problem?

BTW, the Squier Strat has a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge and Seymour Duncan Cool Rails in the neck and middle if that helps any.

Thanks in advance!

Re: *Need Help

This is normal for Strats. The Middle pickup is ususally reverse wound, so switching to the 2 and 4 position gangs a normal wound with the middle reverse wound pickup, effectively creating a humbucking pickup.
