Need help String sliding off fretboard!
I have a Japan Made fernandes revolver. Here are the pics. The Low Estrings dont line up well over the pickup and the frets its self. How would i fix this? Or is this normal? I just got into guitars with trems.

Re: Need help String sliding off fretboard!
If your guitar has a bolt on neck, you may need to loosen the bolts and try to push the neck laterally until the string lines up. I had a similar problem with the high e string on my RG 520. If you are new into guitars you may want to take it to a tech to have looked at.

Re: Need help String sliding off fretboard!
If you are going to try it, just loosen the bolts a few turns and push the headstock down (or to the right if looking down the neck from the bridge). Then try to keep the leverage as you tighten the bolts. Good luck.

Re: Need help String sliding off fretboard!
Yes, but that only works if everything is aligned wrong -- i.e. the high e is too far from the edge and there is room to shift all the strings toward the treble side. In the pics, the high e looks pretty close to the edge of the board too (can't see it very well). It is largely personal preference, but it looks to me like the string spacing and fretboard width aren't very well matched on that guitar.

Re: Need help String sliding off fretboard!
I tried to push the neck did not even move a tad. So what else can i do. Is it the bridge post where drilled wrong. Or what else could it be?

That guitar doesn't look like it was designed for floyd spacing... or the neck is fron a different guitar. I would find whoever sold it to you and beat them with it.

Re: Need help String sliding off fretboard!
Look in the circles and notice that the strings are way off center in the slots and if way off there it will be off on the fretboard. I would be intrested in seeing a pic of the bridge on the high E and B strings
The pic of the neck shows a WIDE string spacing. Either the other dude is right and that bridge is not meant for that guitar, your strings being off center on the pics will/could cause that, or possibly the nut is wrong also.
What model guitar is it?

Also note in the pic that the strings that are centered in the bridge saddle line up correctly with the pickup.

Re: Need help String sliding off fretboard!
The
Low strings
are not in their saddles correctly as you can see the high in white are and are pretty much lined up correctly. Move the Strings to the center of the saddle and see how it looks then.

Re: Need help String sliding off fretboard!
The low E is off too (not as much). I noticed that earlier but it didn't look like that was the whole problem. From the new pictures, it definitely looks like the neck alignment is off. Obviously start by getting the strings in the right place in the saddles. But the original idea of shifting the neck should take care of it. Slightly loosen the
neck screws
and pull the neck toward the bass side. If it doesn't have any room in the pocket to move, you may have to trim a tiny amount off the neck pocket to give it room to move. When it is lined up, lock the neck screws back down. That should get it centered right.
