Need quick help with Edge Pro 7

I just got my 1527 and I'm having some trouble with the trem. I almost have the springs screwed in all the way to the body and the trem is still too high when I tune to standard. It's like the springs are too loose.

Any help?

How many spring you got on 3? Try moving them so they are like /I\ gives them more pull.

Can I move them with strings on the guitar? How should I go about doing that?

Re: Need quick help with Edge Pro 7

You'll have to slacken them off quite a bit then get some needle nosed pliers and lift the hooped end over the hook very carefully, if you slip you damage the body. Let the spring relax first don't try to do it all in one movement. Re-establish grip and hook it over the hook nearer the centre. Try leaving trem arm in, turning it 180 so it sticks out the back and press down a little on it so it slackens the strings even more if necessary.

What gauge string are you using, Ibanez floating bridges are usually set up to take 9's to 54(ish) on the Low B

It's probably the gauge of the strings you're using, particularly the 7th string. How is the action on the guitar? Is it high? If the action is high, then you need to lower the trem.

Something's definitely wrong with that. Post a pic of the trem cavity.
