i been in the swirling since darren and herc was still on the site arguing with us cause we kept asking ( what kind of paint do you guys use). lol

I have been loving every minute of the trial and error and sometimes when i sell them i lose money but i love it .

HAHA I have probably read most of those threads...I'm not trying to sell mine I just want to make a few cool ones for myself.... My back is too F'ed up to do all this work for someone else. With all the pain, time, and money I've spent I probably could have just bought one, but it's been a ton of fun and something I can point to and say I did that. Dipping a guitar is cool rush too

Hi ya,
That is the best swirl i ever seen....stuning man...
I was browsing the jemsite for some swirl posts so i can get some help with my swirl project that we started today.
After applying the borax 1.5 tbs per us gallon and getting the water temp to 27 degrees. I put my enamel paint and the problem is that the paint spreads ok but drying up fast and creating a glass film that breaks down when u try to swirl it.
What could be the problem here?

sorry just read this.
i never use borax well maybe in dead of winter.
try no borax and if water is too hot it will skim over quickly.
