New Tele Neck Questions

I modding my Telecaster into a makeshift jazz based guitar (LOL). To be honest, just minor stuff. This is mainly something I want to do whilst waiting for parts on my major project (RG1570 modding) and nothing really major.

Does anyone know where I can get a black telecaster neck? Black rosewood or maple. I can't seem to find one.

Is using a modified 24 fret neck to fit a Tele neck pocket possible? Or do to new scale length is this impossible?

I was thinking of getting a HH Tele pickguard from pickguard paradise, are they reputable? (I'm sending an email now)

I'm considering a bunch of pickup choices now, either a jazz Suhr combo, a Seymour Duncan Jazz and JB, a Bartolini jazz combo, or a Shadow Pro Jazz combo.

Fender did make all black Tele necks for some of their Japanese Telecasters - you may find one on *Bay, but they aren't fantastic, so I'll go with the other punters - order a Warmoth neck with the profile and frets you want, and get them to spray it black - or, if you want to empty the piggy bak, spring for an all Black Ebony neck - you won't even have to finish it.

Or you could go with a moses graphite neck. They are all black.

If I got an all ebony neck, besides the massive $$$, it would be pretty heavy neck side. But sustain would be +1.

I'm not to sure about these new composite/Parker type necks, but I'll look into a moses graphite.

Warmoth has a black rosewood fingerboard on a tele neck, but I was hoping for all black. If things happen, I'll probably end up getting that.
