OFR in JEM

Hey there i'm buying a JEM body, routed for edge pro and lo pro bridges, and i was wondering if i could (because it is cheaper) use instead an Original Floyd Rose without any routing.

Thx in advance.

You may want to double check that the OFR handles the neck radius you are using, but I'm pretty it should be fine.

Re: OFR in JEM

well i'm using a standard ibanez wizard neck taken from an RG. i'm guessing it's not too radius'd?

but the routing cavity will fit all the floyd rose parts right?

Re: OFR in JEM

I would try to save for the Edge or LoPro, even if it is more expensive.

a) It's a great trem (some say superior to OFR, and I agree, but that's personal preference)
b) You wouldn't have to do any routing on a great body

Re: OFR in JEM

Okay just so i'm clear what's the difference between a lopro and edge pro?

there about $50 apart.. and theres OFR's for cheaper than either. and i KNOW OFR will be good enough for me, so how exactly are they better?
