OFR vs EDGEPRO ROUTE

whats up guys, im new here. been reading for a while but just signed up. i have a question about an original floyd and an edgepro routs. i am having a body made by warmoth with a OFR route. originally i was going to have it sit flush on the body so it could only dive but their machines can only do a fully recessed route because the body will have a carved top. they arent set up to do a flush mount. i was wondering if an edgepro route is the same as an OFL. i tried to post some pics of my guitars but i didnt figure out how yet. i have a jem 7vwhy courtesy of rich harris that plays incredible....thanks again rich.

If they can't do the EP rout I'd avoid them and go with somebody that can, there are several.

Re: OFR vs EDGEPRO ROUTE

Not sure if this little bit of information helps. My guitar has an OFR. The guitar is almost 20 years old. The guitar had a Kahler Spyder tremolo. Which I didn't like. So I put this unit on. The route is nothing like you see on RG. The trem sits above the body and requires little destruction to the body itself. I can pull back as far as any RG with it like this.
