Original Floyd Rose help please!

I recently replaced the licensed floyd rose on my esp ltd mh-300 with an Original Floyd Rose. The only issue I am having is adjusting the string height. The bridge is sitting at the appropriate height yet the strings are sitting a bit to low and causing some buzzing. I would like the action to be higher but how can I do this without raising the trem any higher? thanks for the help in advance.

you find the magical string height raising fairy and ask her to do it.

... or you raise the bridge. you can also take the neck off and see if there's a shim, and if there is, remove it.

it's a set neck. and i said the bridge is already at an appropriate height. I don't want to raise it any higher. It is where it is supposed to be.

You probably need to shim the saddles if the radius of the neck is different to the trem.

But really if they are all sitting low and buzzing you need to raise the trem.

The trem is obviously not at the appropriate height for your guitar if the strings are buzzing. There is no real set height for the trem anyway, just what ever gets you the best action without string buzz.

Re: Original Floyd Rose help please!

Google "Floyd Rose shims".

Buy from the vendor of your choice.
