oscillation on g string
I recently got a jem 555, steady now, it's actually a nice axe. Anyway my only gripe is there's an oscillation on the g string from about the 9th fret up which can be annoying at times if i play a note without using vibrato, more audible with distortion . I've tried raising the action as much as is comfortable but it's still there. The neck and frets seem fine so i'm a bit stumped as to what's causing it. I've tightened all bolts and screws that could be loose. The only thing i haven't touched is the string saddle on the trem as the guitar is only a few weeks old and i don't know if that's the problem. I did return it to the shop and they said everything was ok on the guitar and it's pretty common. So i asked him to try a couple other guitars in the shop, and the same oscillation was there. Any ideas on how to fix this would be a great help.
thanks in advance.
