Enjoy the nice "worn" look of your guitar.

Unfortunately, the blue finish comes off very easily, and there's really not much you can do about it, short of not playing the guitar.

But even with the worn finish, they still look cool, and play and sound great!

Mask everything off and spray it with a sealor or clear coat if you like but it won't FEEL the same after your finished...

Don't worry! I can almost see bare wood on my neck, and it looks cool, it looks played, and best of all, it looks MINE! Each dent adds personality

How much do you guys play? I have had my BSB for little over 2 years now (it was new when I bought it) and the only noticeable wear is on the inside edge of the monkey grip (even it is very slight). Neck is exactly as it was when I bought it. I've played it average 1-2 hours a day for 2 years now

Heres a pic taken just few weeks ago:

I've had mine for a little less than a year. It doesn't get played as much as the UV, but still gets in about 1hour on a good day. The neck has faded quite a bit, there's a bit of wear on the monkey grip, and the bit where your picking forearm rests has gone shiny, but still with finish.

In all honesty it's not bad, and I actually like the dissapearing finish. It just ends up looking cool. And seeing as it's not getting sold

Where does the finish go? Are you guys absorbing all this stuff? :donnie:

I remember having a blue thumb quite a lot when I first got it. It sort of rubs off into balls of blue stuff...
