Painting question?!

Ok so if you are putting on your paint coat and it is getting some orange peel, do you sand the paint coat or wait and clear, then sand the peel out of the clear?

You lightly sand the color coat before clear. Then sand and buff the clear.

Ok now a clear coat question. I am using the Krylon Fusion clear that is recommended many times here. I put on two dusting coats, then a little thicker but still pretty dry. Let it sit 24 hours, sanded with 800 grit very lightly. Then a couple more coats, this time a little thicker, let it dry 24 hours +, Was going to put on some more today, but the last coats look a little cloudy what should I do from here? Did I do something wrong? Im in Florida so humidity is high, but there is no avoiding it here.

Thanks Bat, Another few coats in the books I think I will finish out this can then hurry up and wait the 7 days for it to cure fully.

The strat I swirled and cleared with Fusion looked a little cloudy at times during the process and still looked a little cloudy in a few spots after 7 days, but when I wetsanded and buffed the cloudy parts disappeared. I used 3 cans FWIW

Humidity is a big no no when clearing.

Out here last summer i lost weeks of paint time due to the humidity.

The cloudy finish is a result of the above.

Block her back,and keep refinishing.

DONT paint when its humid.
