I have a POD pro and I connect it to my PC with a MIDI - USB cable.
does anyone out there use or recommend a recording software to use with this setup ?

Thanks in advance.

Depends if your going to get serious with it or not, I use Sonar LE which I got free with my soundcard and it's great for what I'll use it for.

yeah, depends. If you want something easy to use with no midi, I'd recommend guitar tracks pro (cakewalk).

Re: PC recording software ?

Reaper is free (or very cheap) and can really compete with pricey commercial software. Audacity is free, but not anywhere close to Reaper in terms of features/usability. It should do for starters though.

I found Adobe Audition (formerly Cool Edit Pro) to be easy to use and good in terms of features. I'd rather use Reaper these days though.
