Pickup adjustment problem.

When i want to lower my neck pickup, it will lower however the more lower it goes, the more the pickup starts to move left towards the pickup ring thus getting a bent pickup as in one side is higher than the other.

I took all my strings off, unscrewed the pickup ring and took the pickup off and i saw that the wire coming from the pickup is out of the way when i screw the screws to lower the pickup (hence creating the uneven pickup height)

Ibanez should of made the pickup cavity deeper but it can't be done because the SA220 has a slim body and is not as thick as the RG's yes?

Well is there anyway i can sort this problem out? I want ot get my pickup even. Do any of you people have this problem?

yes,
i had the same problems time to time. usually i give up, doesnt matter, cause the sound won't be affected by the pickup's uneven position.
but if the problems gets bigger, then i'll put some rubberfoam under the pickup, right under the side that tends to sink less into the cavity.
