Pics of Abalone tree of life on maple board anyone?

I've been thinking that it might be cool to change the blue plastic inlays on my Blue Floral Pattern to abalone ones. The problem is I'm not really sure what it'll look like if I would put it throygh... I really like her a lot right now but can't stop wondering how she might look with more classy inlays .

Does anyone have experience and/ or pictures of such an operation, any input at all would be largely appreciated

I'm really checking the possibilities of custom inlaying right now, I'm planning to change the brutally ugly waves on my S-serie and dots on another axe as well, let's hope the finances keep up

You need to contact Jeremy at LGM guitars. He is doing a synthetic abalone inly on a project for me right now. They are very sharp. He should be able to show you pics of inlays he's done.

Thanx! The problem I have right now is that my budget is gone because I'm going to get a JPM P3 on wednesday and a new amp this summer. The money I had reserved for customizing will be gone when I get the JPM P3 (it was on Dutch ebay, I have to have it )

I'd recommend blue abalone. The white/pearl stuff wouldn't show as well, i don't think. On a VSBL board, now THAT'S a different story!

Jupp, stick with the Blue one on your neck.
Tried to find it out once in Photoshop, but it didnīt look that awesome.
Try P-Shop and change colours yourself to see the difference.
