Please help

I have just purchased a Ibanez S370 DX off **** for a awesome price. The damn thing didn't come with the whammy bar. I can't seem to find the part ANYWHERE on the net. I found a part number off here, but no where to order it from. Can anyone help me locate a site to order it from? I went to my local store here, and they said it would be cheaper just to order it offline since they have to order a minimum of 100$ from Ibanez

Re: Please help

Ohhh, the guy I told there was a page on ibanez.com that had a list of all the bar part numbers, and that I didn't have the time to go find it for him, and maybe he should look himself..

Yea, that's rude. I've got an especially low tollerance for laziness.

Rich is not rude..just a little straight forward... I got scared when i talked to him over the phone... i think he was busy or something (hey rich !! i am the one with heavy INDIAN accent)..

also last year in Sep when i mailed him about some question about JEM...he said
"it's funny how people buy from dealers who can never answer any of your questions. this is not a helpline. It's Customer Service i.e meant for customers."

there was more text which i don't remember. but i got the point...cancelled my order from ***************.com and ordered one from rich !! FAKK !! I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE GUITAR !!!

i think he's the best man in the business... \m/ 3 cheers for RICH.

Rich Bro, I'll say it again in your defence, Of the many e-mails i have sent, some short, some mini essay's, you've always replied, Sometimes only a few words and often answering my question exactly as i need it answered in very few words, you've also sent huge emails back answering exactly what i needed to know in much greater depth, But you've ALWAYS replied and answered.

If an email is sent, like and old one of mine, " How does the Neckthrough compare to an AANJ guitar..... I went on in more depth" I got back, "It's the same only neckthrough" IIRC, which answered my question, Was'nt rude but may seem obvious and sarcastic to some, But really what else could i have expected?

If anyone asks a Dumb, Straightforward question i'd expect a short, almost sarcastic reply. Thats what happens when someone who gets the volume of e-mails Rich does, when you imagine how many e-mails he gets a DAY for TremBars etc.

Rich, My hat goes off to you for always replying, Let alone trying to help out the many people that ask questions already answered on your site

Just my 2cents, say what you like, But when i get back to work, I'll be getting most things through IbanezRules, for the main reasons, He answers my questions and i know i'll get exactly what i want

Rob

p.s. this is not ass kissing, just a straight forward, Longwinded defense of someone i'd like to call a friend

Re: Please help

Mega, damn boy, stick to email. I love to talk on the phone [when I have time] but I could barely understand a word!!

Rob, love ya bro.

The guy asked if I had, and if the ED/LP # was the correct part # for the bar for his 370, I said no to both, and he'd find the part # on ibanez.com at the link under the full bridge part [he said he found that]. He was looking in 02', 00' has the link [and who knows what other years] I told him such, and also that there was a page with all the bar part numbers but he'd have to look for it, I didn't have the time.

Of course for that I'm incredibly rude.

You know I wrote him after his post and expressed exactly where he could go. You know if I'm going to be accused of being rude, then I'll make sure I am

Re: Please help

MetalManTX, the Guitar Center in Clear Lake has Ibanez whammy bars for sell, 9 bucks I think. I got a couple extras because I tend to misplace my whammy bars. If you're in Texas you're either fairly close to a Guitar Center like Houston or Dallas, or you're 700 miles from a Guitar Center in a town like Pampa. Eitherway, if you're close to a GC call 'em up.. see if they got any.

P.S. keep in mind Rich is from Jersey, what is damn courteous to them is an outright ******* to us Texans. I been living in College Station and I went into Houston for the Vai concert, good lord, everyone in that town is a huge ******* compared to this hicksville
