please post your funniest sounding guitar problem

have you ever had a problem with a guitar but when you define it with proper terminology, the problem just sounded hilarious? like me for instance, i was fixing someone's guitar, but i noticed that the 3rd string's slot was too shallow, so it kept on slipping out (i guess you know where this is going) so when i told what the problem was, i couldn't help resist laughing. The problem was.....(drum roll)....the g-string kept on slipping out of the nut slot

I think most would involve "nuts" and "G-strings". I just can't think of any.

Had a conversation with a band mate once using my cell phone while in a crowded book store. My wife was on the next isle and was killing herself laughing. The band mate was having problems with his G string on his Taylor popping. You can just about imagine the stuff I was saying and what it sounded like from just my side of the conversation. "Maybe there's somthing wrong with your nut" "Have you tried different brands" "it breaks at the nut?" "my G string never pops" and on and on.

Not exactly a problem, but a teacher at my school got a little freaked out when she saw that i wrote "Give Perry a G-string" in my school diary, as i had promised my bandmate id give him a g-string since i had an extra and he had broken his.

All of my guitars have names. I have an RG560 that I was repainting and changing pickups in, named Amber. While on the phone in a restaraunt, I was talking to a friend about the guitar. Talking about the whammy bar, and how it played, and it was a fairly new guitar at the time to me. This lady just kept staring at me after she heard only my side of the conversation... "Nah...just got some stripper...Amber? Yeah she's great....feels good too. Sometimes she's buzzing without me touching her, and I've only been playing with her for a month, but I'll buy her a new pickup, that'll shut her up... yeah, pretty smooth action. Screams at the top too..."

It's funny how sometimes one half of a conversation is just enough to show where someone else's mind is...

Amp related . . .

Loaned my old Fender Super 60 head and 2 x 12 to a friend, happens to be female, and I was telling a co worker about how "she pumped it way up and blew my head" . . . a customer in the store, who of course didn't hear the part about it being an amp, told me I shouldn't talk like that in front of the patrons.
