With some practice, you can bend them by hand/with FW bending pliers. That's the cheap option. Just don't create any kinks.
The best option is a FW bender. Stew-Mac's is ridiculously expensive. There are some on the Bay for a little less. Or you could build one. Over on projectguitar.com there is a plan for a bender with $5 worth of parts from Home Depot. Some people hammer them down to a curved wood form.
The radius isn't critical, but you need a couple inches of overbend for hammer-in. You don't need as much for press-in, but you should still have a little over-bend.
