Problem with a bridge saddle.

Hey guys, I'm having a little trouble with the saddle insert under the high E in my Jem. The strings have worn a groove into the insert, and now when you bend on the high E, you can hear the sting click off the groove, and again when you release. Needless to say, this is bothering me.

Any advice before I restring?

Burr at point of contact. Replace it.

Unfortunately, I'm nowhere near anybody who'd be able to see me a replacement insert. Any other suggestions?

Re: Problem with a bridge saddle.

You don't replace the insert, you replace the saddle, or, you just swap it with the low E saddle.

Good thing, Rich's suggestions for fixing guitar problems generally dont get listened to without other peoples support.
