Problems with the G string....

The problem is only the G string gets a little out of tune when I drop the whammy bar or do whatever crazy thing. Yes, I have a floyd rose with a key lock and everything, but the strange thing is I only have a problem with the G string. For example: I drop the bar as low as possible and the G string goes out of tune, then I pull up on the bar as far as possible and the string is in tune again! O_0
The rest of the strings never ever suffered even an unnoticable pitch change, I never had to tune the guitar when I locked the strings. It's all perfect, but I don't know how the hell can only one string get out of tune. I can tune it in a sec with the tuning screw on the end of the floyd, but I can't be doing that in the middle of a gig and I even shouldn't even have to think about the guitar being in tune when it has a floyd.
So, can anyone please help me on this matter? It's just the damn G string...

Check the intonation on that string, it could make all the difference.

No, it's exactly what someone did NOT need to say. Time to grow up children. It IS a guitar forum, yet every time the words G-string are used we get these responses. Some people avoid posting about problems because they don't want to get these comments. It stopped being funny a long time ago.

( ... end of rant ... )

Re: Problems with the G string....

On a more serious note, do what Cozi suggested and just make sure you always stretch your strings fully in.
