Hi all
Soon to be getting a JS1000 BUT in the meantime am looking to make a project guitar for re-painting etc.
I've managed to find someone who will sell me one of the starter pack
ibanez guitars (couple of months old) for only £80. Was looking to repaint it etc maybe get a new neck and some new pickups.
HOWEVER - I don't want to put in all that effort for a guitar that I won't play, so would it be best to buy a higher model that already plays great and just take it apart? Looking at the cost a JS1000 is gonna cost me I don't really wanna be paying out too much. Worried if replacing neck etc is gonna cause problems like buzz etc
Any advice?
(Painting/priminng/sanding tips would be helpful too! Will post pics once up and running!)
