Question about resonator type guitar

I just recently got interetsed in slide guitar and today I picked up a Epiphone steel resonator guitar (if Ibanez had a resonator I would have bought it)which I like but the action on the high strings is too low and my slide hits the frets. I think baybe the bridge was placed upside down. Attached are a couple of pics to further illustrate what I'm talking about.

Is the action on these style of guitars adjustable or do I need to flip the bridge around so that the action will be higher on the high strings and lower on the lows? Hope I'm making sense.
Thanks

Re: Question about resonator type guitar

Is the back of the neck square or rounded, square ones were ment for slide and the rounded ones were made to be played like an acoustic of for slide. see the cover of SRV's in step CD.

Re: Question about resonator type guitar

Turning it around wouldn't work either. It does look cut wrong. You have to replace the whole piece to change the action.
