question from the project guitar site

Ok, this is my last tung oil question (sorry I've asked so many) I was looking at the project guitar site and in the gallery, there is an RG that's been converted to a voyager with a natural finish. It says it just has a couple of coats of tung oil. I like that finish a lot for my RG project, but I was under the impression that tung oil wouldn't darken basswood that much. Is the RG/Voyager a good example of what tung oil will do? Any other pics would be appreciated

You're probably looking to stain your guitar first and then do the tung oil.
