Recommendations for scalloping service?
I'm thinking about getting the neck of one of my guitars scalloped. Does anyone have someone they would recommend, based upon experience, that offers this service?
I don't have the time nor the inclination to do it myself (the guitar in question is not an inexpensive one) so that's not an option.

Re: Recommendations for scalloping service?
interesting question. Please let us know if anyone has had this done professionally. I've been looking into this too, and found various **** and internet luthiers who offer this service for ~100USD. I too am interested in taking this route to achieve the ultimate blues bending machine!

Ha, that was cool to watch but it didn't help. I'm looking for a recommendation from someone who has had their neck scalloped and was pleased with the end result.
I've already searched the Internet and while I've found a few people that offer the service, I would like to hear about some positive customer experiences with them.

That's exactly what I was looking for. I take you have been happy with the end result?

Re: Recommendations for scalloping service?
I scalloped the neck on my 570 (I posted here). I am very happy with it, but it took a long, long time to do.
Anybody that will do it for $100.00 is in my opinion seriously undercharging, or....?
I would ask for references and pictures of their work before you ship your neck out.
Its kinda like getting a tattoo. Its permanent.
Also if you have anything other than mother-of-pearl dot inlays I would think twice. I would love to have my sharktooth neck scalloped, but know better.
Just my $.02.
Good luck.
