Remove Finish II (dbk version)


I have already read all the topics on the paint stripping, but here i just want to know if someone has already acheive to remove the finish of a JemDBK.

Hmmm. Thats a cool idea. I always wanted to know how they achieve this bumby layout on the body. Glue they something to the body and then paint it? Or is it the paint itself? The body? Hmmm.

I would say the DBK is a prime candidate for chemical stripping or a heat gun and scraper. Once you get it off, then use a fine grade sandpaper to remove any stains left from the process.

And if you get overly happy with the heat gun, you've got a prime BS* or BT* candidate.

The DBK looks like it was first painted flat black and then gloss black was dripped on it. Seems to be a very durable method, too and probably a real pain to remove.
