Removing the tremolo arm holder - What's the best way

The whammy bar in my Rg2027 broke and a part of the bar got stuck inside the
tremolo arm holder ( the part you stick the whammy bar in which is connected to
the base plate ). I obviously need to get the part out, but don't really know how to do it.
Please help me with this!!!

Removing the tremolo arm holder

take that small (arm holder) screw out, and just push the broken piece out with something.

Do you mean the screw that's at the bottom of the arm holder ( you have to open
the backplate to see it when the arm holder is attached to the baseplate )? I was
thinking of taking out the whole arm holder ( which I don't know how to do very easily )
and replacing it with a new one but if it can be done in an easier way, please let me know.
Thanks a lot!!

fastest way is as stated above...

remove the trem cover

remove the small phillips screw w/ spring-like thingy on the underside of the arm holder

use a nail or punch to push out the broken trem arm.

put screw/spring back in.
