Removing Vai signature

I've got a JS100 signed by Vai (don't ask me how it happened) but the paint job sucks. I'm thinking of doing a swirl job on it if I can find one here. Does anyone of you strongly object to removing his signature???

Only problem is... the paint job would probably be worth more than the guitar itself. *Swirls are not cheap.
