repairing a JPM100P4

I recently purchased a used ibanez jpm100p4 that had some damage to the back edge of the guitar, nothing really horrible just some dings and one edge chip. *I really dont know how to go about touching up a matte finish, what would be the best way to repair such damage?

With any touch up you'll have to sand and polish, of course your matte finish will not stand to being polished, as it will polish. I would leave it alone.

Well I am a little disappointed, though I should have known with the matte finish and all. *Thanks for the reply
