repairing an RG421

hey guys,

due to circumstances which im sure youll make fun of me for, i need to repair my beloved RG421. to make an emberassing story short, i drove over it. the case is trashed, but the only damage to the guitar is the volume knob was pushed through the wood.

instead of repairing the wood and repainting it, im going to cut out the whole control cavity from the front and put an RG550 pickguard over it.

now problem A) where do i find a 550 pickguard in black, and how much do they cost? and B) did they ever make one without the center single coil?

any leads you guys could give me would be mucho appriciated
