Replacement for the edge III is on a RGT42DX?

Hi all i was looking for a good replacement, for a Ibanez using Edge III tremolo bridge which i don't like at all.So what i would like to know which trem system can be use to replace the edge III without any mod and just drop in? the edge III is on a RGT42DX any suggestion are welcome..!!! ^_^

Not a savy on Ibanez guitars and tremolos but a a "edge pro" is the same as a "Lo pro edge"?

Ihave the same guitar as you, rgt42 with edge3. It is not a crap bridge as some say, I adjusted it, although it took me long, and it stays in tune with crazy tremolo-raping. I will change it as it started to wear.
After weeks or maybe months of reviewing forums i found that you can replace it with an original floyd rose or an edge pro, without routing or woodwork, but i havent found if any radius problems appear with the floyd nut or bridge, as it seems that they have different radiuses.
Shims can be used but are they really necessary or i could get it to work the way it is?
