Re: Replacement of your trem arm - "tutorial" with pictures

Hi Guys

I've got an Edge-Pro and the loose bar is doing my head in. I'm a bit nervous about wrecking my nice Jem 7DBK. How easy is this schaller mod REALLY?

I don't feel comfortable taking the trem out of the body, can this be done with trem still in the guitar?

Thanks

Mark

Yes, you can leave the trem in the guitar, you just have to remove the back plate. Take your time and its VERY easy - 20 mins job maximum.

Re: Replacement of your trem arm - "tutorial" with pictures

Can someone tell me of a website in the U.S. where I can order a replacement tremelo arm and the appropriate parts needed for this install? I have an Ibanez RG3120 with a Lo Pro.

Thanks!

If someone is looking for the Schaller FR type bar for the edge/lo-pro mod, the best prices I've found are at www.stewartmacdonald.com. But, I think there is a $30 minimum order.

I don't think there is a 30 dollar minimum. I ordered the replacement bar and that was it.
