replacing 500k pot with 1 meg pot...


will i need to change anything when i swap them in me RG1527?

Dimarzio recommend a 1 meg pot for the tone, but 250k ohm for the volume. If you replace the volume pot you don't need to do anything else and your guitar should sound brighter. If you replace the tone pot you may need to increase the capacitor value.

thanks, yeah i forgot to mention that its the volume pot.
